This collection of digital photography is part of an ongoing series I am continually creating titled, “Virtualosity.” The images are an examination of photography in the 4th dimension, a.k.a. virtual space. The works I choose to display here reveal my own reality that I have located in an enormous, incomprehensible flood of virtual content. I am fascinated by this virtual world and how quickly it is consuming all of our lives. Patience is in short supply as access to information; images, connections and media are available at ever increasing speeds and in a mind-boggling variety of formats. Our traditional landscape has been exhaustively catalogued and is now freely available for all to see, easily and inexpensively. This series investigates the possibility that the internet is our new landscape, forever altering the traditional meaning of that word.
