Using the most noble of metals, platinum, I have created a series of our communication devices as they have matured through recent memory. I chose this precious metal as these devices have been, and remain, an asset that is valued by humanity as a “high status” object. I didn’t have access to all these devices to photograph so I searched for these images on the internet and chose files that were “labeled for reuse,” to manipulate, turn into negatives and then print as platinotypes.
